Club Trophies



Through the Club's history are a multitude of Trophies and Awards earned by our proud Members for their services to AMOC. From racing and competitions, to volunteering and ensuring the success of iconic events. Every Award is displayed with pride, showing our long-standing history of our most outstanding Members. This page will only grow in size as more and more incredible acts are witnessed and immortalized.


Racing & Performance


 Aston Martin Lagonda Inc. Trophy - Concours Award


   - History: Donated in 1980 by Aston Martin Lagonda of North America, Inc.

   - Criteria: Awarded for the best overall performance of a single car/driver combination in any V8 Aston, including the DBSV8, AMV8, Vantage Zagato, and Virage.

J.S. Inskip Trophy


   - History: Donated in 1971 by J.S. Inskip of Providence, RI.

   - Criteria: Awarded for the best overall performance (all events including Concours) at the Lime Rock meet in a pre-DB4 Aston Martin.

North American Pre-War Challenge Trophy


   - Criteria: Awarded at the Lime Rock meeting for the best track performance of any pre-war car, regardless of marque.

Victor Gauntlett Trophy


   - History: Established in 2003.

  - History: Awarded for the best overall performance of a single car/driver combination in any new production car.

United States Air Force Trophy


   - History: Donated by Major General Francis Griswold and the officers of the USAF H.Q. in Ruislip, England.

   - Criteria: Awarded for the best sporting performance in the U.S.A. in an Aston Martin by a U.S. member.

Volunteering & Service


Chairperson’s Award


   - History: Established in 2010 by Jim Hazen (Chairman 2007–2012). The trophy itself is a model of the "A3" donated by the AMOC UK, and the base was handmade by former Chairman Chris Greendale.

   - Criteria: Awarded at the discretion of the AMOCNA Chairman to a member for their participation at Lime Rock or overall contribution to the club.

Chuck Nixon Trophy


   - History: Created to honor Chuck and Joyce Nixon, who joined in 1966 and organized the first Lime Rock meet in 1971.

   - Criteria: Awarded in appreciation of a dedicated member who is invaluable to the success of the club.

Elisha Walker Service Award


   - History: Established by Elisha Walker, Jr. (Eastern US Chairman 1959–1963).

   - Criteria: Awarded for outstanding service to the club in the U.S.A. by an American member.
